PROVIDING EQUITABLE
OPPORTUNITIES

to the members of the Frenchtown community via economic development, social change, and cultivation.

THE FRENCHTOWN COMMUNITY

has a very rich and unique history in the city of Tallahassee. Dating back to 1825, the area has been home to French laborers, emancipated slaves, cultural pioneers, famous musicians, and countless more.

The Frenchtown Neighborhood Improvement Association (FNIA)
was created in 1992 to address the critical needs of the community,
and continues to be a beacon of leadership today.
